1WHAT IS THE DIGITAL KEY?
The Digital Key is a free service available to all BNP Paribas customers* that increases the security of your online transactions.
It replaces the confirmation SMS typically received when you add beneficiaries.
* Agents cannot activate the "Digital Key" service to confirm operations made on behalf of their principal.
2THE ADVANTAGES OF THE DIGITAL KEY
Increased security for your online transactions with confirmations using your PIN code and smartphone recognition,
Simplicity, a unique PIN code for confirming your transactions,
Efficiency, your beneficiaries can be activated instantaneously. You no longer have to wait 24 hours to make your transfer,
Freedom, your transfer limit to external beneficiaries will increase from €6,000 to €10,000 .

ACTIVATE YOUR DIGITAL KEY
To activate this service, you must have confirmed your mobile phone number on your BNP Paribas profile.

There are 3 steps to activating your Digital Key:
on your "Mes Comptes" mobile app
to the "Clé Digitale" (digital key) menu in your profile to activate the service
your Digital Key activation with the security code you received by SMS
Your Digital Key has been activated!
Good to know:
For security reasons, after you activate your Digital Key, you will have to wait a few days before you can immediately activate new beneficiaries.
HOW TO USE YOUR DIGITAL KEY
1Confirm your online transactions
The Digital Key is simple, quick and secure to use!
Every time you add a new beneficiary, you will receive a notification on your mobile phone to confirm your transaction. You will be asked for your account login PIN code instead of the activation code received by SMS.
2Manage your Digital Key
From the mobile app, you can:
- View the list of transactions confirmed with your Digital Key
- Deactivate your Digital Key at any time
- Activate your Digital Key on another mobile device
If you change phones, you can transfer your Digital Key. To do so, activate the service from your new device and confirm the transaction on your old device.
If you no longer have your old device (it was stolen, lost, broken, etc.) or if you reinstalled the app, contact the Customer Service Center at +33 (0)1 57 08 22 00.
